Redken Academy
Peak Beauty Academy in Grande Prairie is officially a Redken Salon. Our colour is all Redken as well as hair care and retail. Redken has proven to support and nurture stylists with education second to none. Our teachers and students have a great advantage with this new partnership, and are thriving with the change! As well, 75% of the salons in our area use Redken, so having students pre-trained in the products they use will increase job placement and create ease in transitioning students from school to the salon.
Milady Curriculum
Milady is the curriculum we have used for years, and is the same used in Alberta Trade exams. Hairstyling is one trade that does not have a universal language; meaning if you learn a haircut in one program, while the techniques may be the same as in another, it will likely be called something else. Confusing, right? We want to set you up for success by using the same language used in government exams so when you take your provincial exams it’s one less thing you need to worry about!
Fully Accredited
Our school is a fully accredited government compliant cosmetology school in the Peace Region, held to the highest industry standards. Our accreditation allows students to qualify for financial aid, grants, and scholarships.
